Apple has won a Design Patent for their 2022 MacBook Air with M2 Chip and Display Notch in Hong Kong and more

Last Friday, Apple was granted a design patent in Hong Kong for their M2 MacBook Air. Apple also filed for a single trademark in Hong and several in the U.S. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office also granted Apple Registered Trademark Certificates for the figurative ‘Apple AirTag’ and more.

Unlike “patent applications” that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.
