Neighbors Empowering Youth’s technology community reinvestment programs have given NASA/JPL, Lockheed Martin, Leidos, Parsons, ManTech and Aerospace companies a responsible option to dispose end-of-life-cycle and surplus computer equipment.

By Chris Sulzbach

For 22 years, Neighbors Empowering Youth’s donated technology has provided much-needed resources to local non-profit organizations programs for youth, seniors, and underserved persons. Over these past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has been disruptive to our non-profit and our programs. But we are still here and helping the San Gabriel valley communities, and we need your donations to stay active in our mission of bridging the digital divide. “We believe that a child without a computer is like a school without pencils.”

All responsible companies face the task of safely disposing of older equipment and their e-waste.

Computer donation program

Neighbors Empowering Youth has a computer donation program that extends the life of computer equipment and decreases waste.

Hard drives are erased using the Department of Defense’s DoD 5220.22-M standard, or if necessary, hard drives are physically destroyed. We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure your company data does not fall into the wrong hands.
